It's so refreshing to see it published and see an inspiring female leader reveal the truth and few people dare to speak up about. The World need more female leaders like Ellen Pao who's not afraid of speaking out and take it to court, until then we can keep hearing about gender / racial discrimination complaints, empty big words compaigns but no real fundamental change is going to happen.
I'm normally not a fan of non-fiction, but I'm a huge fan of this book. I literally could not put it down and finished reading in one sitting. So much thought, insight, detail, and self-reflection. I love the message of hope and we all owe a big thank you to Ellen for her bravery and paving the way for inclusion everywhere.

I love this book because it is brave and hopeful. Ellen Pao has brought out a truth we all need to hear, and although she is so impressive, her journey is one many women at work can relate to. Once the book gets to trial, it's page turning. Should be required reading for all of us in the workplace!
I had followed the trial and was bummed Ellen lost. This is the inside story that states the facts. She doesn't whinge while she's at it. I finished it in two sittings over 2 days. The story flows. Even though the ending is known, the sense of dread isn't dragged out for the reader. I'm glad she devotes quite a few chapters to life after.Oh, I'm a 69 year old Asian male living in Singapore. So she does have quite a diverse fan base.
